One FULL SCHOLARSHIP for Italian Retreat!
Spring is finally here, and I'm thrilled to tell you that for the very first time in our 10-year history, we're offering one Full Scholarship worth nearly 7,500 euros - along with several partial ones - to be personally mentored by award-winning Hollywood producer Barnet Bain at the Italian Castle!
⭐ Barnet, who produced the Oscar-winner WHAT DREAMS MAY COME (starring Robin Williams) and Eckhart Tolle’s MILTON’S SECRET (starring Donald Sutherland and Michelle Rodriguez) will be mentoring just 4 writers during this special 6-day Retreat, which will be held at the breathtaking Aragonese Castle on the Island of Ischia, Naples, Italy: rocabertiwriters.com/retreats/april-2027 🙂🎬
Other industry experts joining Barnet during the extended 6-day Retreat include:
Acclaimed Film & TV comedy writer, producer and theatre director, Stan Zimmerman, (THE GOLDEN GIRLS, ROSEANNE and GILMORE GIRLS),
Kelly Goode, the former Senior VP of Current Programming at Warner Bros. TV, responsible for overseeing series such as SUPERMAN & LOIS, YOUNG SHELDON, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, GOSSIP GIRL and WESTWORLD, and:
Literary Manager Chris Deckard, co-founder of the management/production company Fictional Entity, with over 7 years' experience at major agencies such as ICM Partners and WME.
"The Rocaberti Writers' Retreat was a game changer for me. Claire Elizabeth Terry’s astute pairing of writers and mentors was key, as was the calibre of all the participating executives. I learned something from all of them - and had a great time to boot! The experience far exceeded my expectations. I could not more highly recommend it!" — Christena Alcorn, Austin, Texas, Best Historical Feature, 2024 PAGE International Screenwriting Awards
"As a PAGE Finalist and Gold Category Winner, I had high hopes for my time at the Rocaberti Writers' Retreat. I was not disappointed. The retreat offers a warm and inviting experience for writers seeking to build on their knowledge and refine their work. The mentors are industry people who have strong backgrounds and they are eager to share their knowledge at all levels." — Robert Brody, Los Angeles, California, 2024 PAGE Finalist and 2014 Gold Prize winner
