Barnet Bain

Veteran producer Barnet Bain has a long history of spiritually oriented filmmaking working frequently from literary material and collaborating with award winning artists. Select productions include Oscar-winner WHAT DREAMS MAY COME (starring Robin Williams), Eckhart Tolle’s MILTON'S SECRET (starring Donald Sutherland and Michelle Rodriguez), THE CELESTINE PROPHECY, and JESUS also known as THE JESUS FILM, translated into over 1,800 languages and often cited as the most widely seen film in history by The New York Times.

For television, Barnet’s productions include Emmy Award-winner HOMELESS TO HARVARD, THE LINDA MCCARTNEY STORY and QUANTUM PROJECT which made internet history as the first fully digital motion picture produced for worldwide internet distribution, and the first to electronically sell into a movie theatre.

Upcoming productions include Richard Bach’s ILLUSIONS coproduced with Zack Snyder, IL JARDIN SECRETO (THE SECRET GARDEN), and MEN ARE FROM MARS, WOMEN ARE FROM VENUS.

Barnet is a former Core Faculty member at Columbia University, Spirituality Mind Body Institute, the first Ivy League masters concentration in spirituality and psychology. He is the author of How to be a Friend: In an Unfriendly World (Wiley, 2026), The Book of Doing and Being: Rediscovering Creativity in Life, Love and Work (Simon & Schuster), and The Third Story: Awakening the Love that Transforms (Spindrift).

Kelly Goode

Kelly Goode is a senior entertainment creative executive with deep experience in television series current programming and development. She most recently served as Senior Vice President & Team Leader, Current Programming, at Warner Bros. Television (WBTV), the entertainment industry’s largest provider of original scripted programming for streaming platforms, premium cable, and the broadcast networks. In this capacity, Goode was responsible for day-to-day programming activities on numerous one-hour and half-hour scripted series and worked closely with many of the Studio’s most influential producers.

In this role, Goode oversaw series such as BRILLIANT MINDS and SUPERMAN & LOIS, from Berlanti Productions; BOB♥ABISHOLA, BOOKIE, and YOUNG SHELDON, from Chuck Lorre Productions; PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: ORIGINAL SIN from Roberto Aguirre Sacasa’s Muckle Man Productions and Alloy Entertainment; the upcoming JUST CAUSE, starring and executive produced by Scarlett Johansson; and more.

Prior to her promotion to SVP, Goode was Vice President, Current Programming, WBTV, from 2015–2020. During her tenure, Goode worked on series such as RIVERDALE, WESTWORLD, BATWOMAN, DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, DC’s STARGIRL, THE FLASH, GOSSIP GIRL, THE KOMINSKY METHOD, KUNG FU, LEGACIES, PEACEMAKER, SHRILL, and TITANS, among others.

Before joining WBTV, Goode was Vice President, Original Programming, at ABC Family (now Freeform), overseeing the current programming department. She began her executive career at Columbia Pictures Television and then moved on to CBS Entertainment, first as an executive in the comedy development department and then as Vice President, CBS Productions. Later, Goode was named Senior Vice President, Programming, at Lifetime Television, as part of the team that launched the network’s first original scripted series.

Goode has been involved in many professional and civic organizations. She is a board member of the “I Have A Dream” Foundation-Los Angeles and serves on the Advisory Council of the Hollywood Radio & Television Society (HRTS). She is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and has been a long-time judge for The Humanitas Prize. She has also been named to industry leadership lists, including Entertainment Weekly, The Hollywood Reporter, and Black Enterprise.

Goode received her Bachelor of Arts (A.B.) with honors from Harvard College.

Chris Deckard

Prior to co-founding the management/production company Fictional Entity in January 2017, Chris Deckard spent over seven years working with and representing talent at major agencies such as ICM Partners and WME. He has worked closely with traditional and new media buyers to find and develop content for domestic and international audiences. In addition to helping cast and package numerous features and series, he has evaluated thousands of scripts for actors and directors. Chris graduated from Cornell University and earned his J.D. from Notre Dame Law School.

Fictional Entity’s clients have been named to The Black List, The Hit List, The Young & Hungry List, The Blood List and been lauded by the PAGE Awards, the International Emmys and placed as finalists in The Heath Ledger Scholarship and the Academy Nicholl Fellowship The Academy Nicholl Screenwriting Awards, the AWG, ADG, SPA, and AACTA. Clients have written, directed, starred, and produced in numerous formats, including features, TV, virtual reality, and podcasts, independently and for companies like Netflix, NBCUniversal, AMC, Legendary, Meta, Marvel, Fremantle, SyFy, the CW, Warner Bros., Amazon, Blumhouse, Comedy Central, BBC, the ABC Australia, Foxtel, TruTV, Super Deluxe, Hallmark, CBS, Lifetime, E!, and MSNBC.

Chris has advised clients through multiple successful series pilot and pitch sales. He and his business partner were non-writing Executive Producers on a series pilot that sold to a major US network in 2021. In 2024, Fictional Entity client highlights include: a book-to-series pitch sale to Netflix, a first-time writer/director’s feature film entering production, the release of three series from first-time writing Executive Producers, and a feature film release.

Stan Zimmerman

Stan Zimmerman is a man of many mediums (TV, film and theatre). He’s been nominated for two WGA Awards for Best Comedy Writing – THE GOLDEN GIRLS and ROSEANNE (the infamous lesbian kiss episode). Stan’s also written and produced on GILMORE GIRLS, co-created the Lifetime sitcom, RITA ROCKS, wrote on both BRADY BUNCH movies and rewrote the ABC-TV movie of ANNIE. Stan has a BFA-Drama from NYU/Circle-in-the-Square and has directed LA productions of The Diary of Anne Frank, Entertaining Mr. Sloane, A Tuna ChristmasGeminiSpike Heels and his original plays – Meet & GreetKnife to the Heart, Have a Good One, and Yes Virginia (also at Judson Theatre - Pinehurst, NC and North Street Playhouse - Onancock, VA). Stan directed Off-Broadway’s HYPROV (Daryl Roth Theatre). TRWplays has published and licensed his works: Yes Virginia, Silver Foxes and his suicide awareness play, Right Before I Go., which he performs in across the U.S. Zimmerman & Berg wrote the Lifetime hit Christmas movie, LADIES OF THE 80'S: A DIVAS CHRISTMAS. Stan’s memoir, The Girls: From Golden to Gilmore was released by Indigo River Publishing. He’s appeared on numerous podcasts, national morning shows, and as the "Bartender” on Andy Cohen’s WATCH WHAT HAPPENS LIVE to promote it. Stan was the host/showrunner on Bravo’s SITUATION: COMEDY, a reality show produced by Sean Hayes.
